Always a pleasure

Our third time at this fabulous site! Always fantastic even if the weather is not so good! Toilets and wash areas are spotless, great location and near to the train station (can take your dogs on too) 🐾❤️ The guys who run this site make it so easy to book in and are always helpful and very friendly. It’s a lovely site for couples, families, or if you just fancy being on your own! Looking forward to returning soon Ali & Steve Dyer And Brie 🐾

Brilliant!

We were met by friendly, helpful staff. The site is huge and soooo pretty! Facilities were immaculate at all times. The area was beautiful with plenty of walks and even a 'dog wash' facility. We will be back lots!!!

Excellent Site

Our first visit to this site, we were not disappointed. A real gem. 4 toilet blocks, all spotless and the wardens work constantly to keep the site immaculate. We choose a high pitch with a great view over the village to the sea. The footpaths around the site were great as we have 2 dogs, the walk up to the top of Inclebore Hill (National Trust) is quite beautiful. The views stunning. We will be back.

This is hidden

Having been a member of and on for over 40 years, I cannot believe we have never found this site. We were staying a mile down the road at Seacroft where we have stayed on a few occasions in the past, pondering on where to go next, our neighbours mentioned Incleboro, we decided that due to inclement weather forecast inland we would book a few nights and give it a try. Unfortunately this site like others has decided to have a 13:00 hrs arrival time which given we had to be off our current site by 12:00 meant we had to find somewhere to park up for an hour, not easy with a 12m outfit and more frustrating when arriving at 13:00 to find lots of outfits had been allowed on and during the course of our stay one van was allowed on at 11:30. However, that’s where the moaning stops, a fantastic site with brilliant views from some pitches, A fabulous bunch of wardens, modern and well maintained facilities, again thanks to the hard working team who never stopped, the logistics of this site need constant maintenance and the wardens work very hard to keep it looking wonderful. Easy walks into both Cromer and Sheringham and also down to the beach make it an easy life for Motorhomes and our towcar was only used for a trip to the supermarket. Cannot believe we have never been here before, but will certainly be back, and sorry Seacroft it’s your loss.

Lovely well run site

This was our first visit to this lovely site, but will definitely going again. It as a large, very clean and well maintained site with friendly and helpful staff. The pitches are spread out around a hillside 9-hole golf course with (distant) views to the sea from the top of the site. Whilst many of the pitches are level, a number are sloping and levelling blocks may be required. We booked a service pitch to guarantee a level site, but as it was not busy there were a number of level grass pitches available. The access road us narrow so sticking to the arrival and departure times is advisable. Shower blocks are modern and very clean. Good location for Cromer and Sheringham, and seals at Horsey and Blakeney Point ate a must for wildlife enthusiasts. Excellent camping and caravan supplies shop in Wesr Runton if you forget any essentials.

Quiet times

Lovely few days away, the week before Easter and all quiet and calm. Set up opposite the play area, so our 4 YO Abbey could play on the swings. Only 2 other kids there and a hand full of vans in the whole field was nice. The area was well kept and the shower block very clean. Warden were great with Abbey and entered her tourer explorer picture in their competition. A great few days rest all round and our third trip to this site.

Problem dogs

I visit this site normally around 6 times a year, my stay would be fine apart from dog owners not all but some, people leave their dogs behind when they go out ,mostly in an awning they bark when other dogs or people go past their owners don’t know this because there not on site ,early in morning they let dog or dogs out to do their business while they stay in van. The dogs roam and pee or mess on other people’s pitch ,I’ve had dog peeing up side of my awning you can’t always find where they have come from ,have reported this numerous times over years to local wardens who can’t do anything if they don’t see it. The site now seems to have more dogs then humans on site ,as most owners have more than 1 ,have seen some with 5 ,I think club should start charging by the dog on site as they do adults. This is a big site and at any one time could have over 200 dogs not all will be friendly towards other dogs so even fights break out. Why can’t this site have dog free areas it has so many individual areas where this could be possible . This is a wonderful site great wardens ,lovely area ,but spoilt by so few.

Lovely relaxing weekend getaway

We live roughly 30 miles away from this site so for us this was a spur of the moment long weekend away and we will definitely be returning, vacancies permitting, for many more throughout the year. Lovely welcome from all the staff, helpful and friendly. The facilities are immaculate, and plenty of them around the site. Yes it is hilly in parts, but there is plenty of choice of pitches within the site. We have a motorhome so we use bicycles most of the time, we found a really quiet route to Cromer, some of it on bridleways and small tracks, about a 30 minute cycle ride. Shop on site, selling a small range of essentials but there is a small convenience store just a short walk away. There is also a train station close by, didn't use this so not sure of frequency of trains but I believe it goes to Sheringham and Norwich. We didn't experience any of the plane noise mentioned in a previous review only a small plane doing aerobatics out at sea which if anything was enjoyable to watch. We actually found this site really quiet and peaceful.

Lovely site, excellent wardens but .....

This is a wonderful site set in beautiful surroundings. Tina and Tim the brand new wardens were absolutely brilliant and professional and we wish them the very best in their new careers. The site has some lovely pitches with sea views, but many of them are not level and there was some very innovative ways campers blocked up their rigs to get them straight. There is a steep up hill walk to the upper level where the great views are. The campsite is equal distant, 2.5 miles, between Cromer and Sheringham lovely walks on the beach. There is a small convenience store in West Runton, 0.5m for urgent supplies. The most negative point about the site was the noise. At around 3pm everyday military aircraft fly over the site. These must have been pretty big bombers and the noise was ear splitting and very uncomfortable. I would imagine anyone with jittery dogs would have a challenge. All in all, a very good site and somewhere we will return to but not during the busy months.

It is a pleasure to join you guys.

My latest visit was to see the site close at the end of the season. Very sad. It has been a good summer with a number of visits and it was good to see the site staff preparing for next years visitors. Keep up the good work. It is just a shame that other sites do not have the same standard of friendly and helpful staff. We did lots of walking between Sheringham and Comer and Overstrand. Have eaten loads of cake with many pots of tea at the Corner House in West Runton, had the most enjoyable bacon sarnies (with brown sauce, of course, at the beach cafe in West Runton - oh and try The Jetty in Cromer. Really friendly cafe. Will look forward to seeing you all next spring. With thanks for all your efforts. Clive Taylor
