Well kept aging site.
We stayed for 4 nights in October. The last mile of the approach is very narrow and the final lane narrower still! The site itself is well laid out with a sensible one way system. When we arrived the grassed area had just closed but there were plenty of billiard table flat hardstandings. Wardens were helpful and welcoming.
Facilities are basic but clean with good pressure and hot water. It was very quiet but I would imagine it could get fairly noisy when the surrounding commercial campsites are in full swing.
There is no dog walk available, the only option is the narrow lane outside. the nearest available space is a good 5-10 mins walk down the (unlit) lane. However, once this is negotiated the beach goes forever in both directions.
There are no pubs handy and the heavily developed caravan sites and amusements up the coats held no appeal for us. We failed to find anywhere to eat in Burnham also.
