We were not aware of the building going on when we arrived but it didn't interfere with our enjoyment. The wardens were very helpful and friendly and kept everywhere clean and tidy. 2 pitches were still flooded despite the dry weather but all others were OK. The downside VERY small dog walk and the lane outside leading to the beach is very narrow and busy if you're walking there. The site in the corner by the dog walk is quite noisy from the adjacent camp site with a constant squeaking from a piece of equipment. The thing that was most disappointing was the poor wifi reception in that area - not what we expected from a gold standard! Overall though a good site if you want to be in this area.
