The site is in a lovely location, close to Wareham and giving access to Poole, Dorchester, Weymouth, Corfe Castle, Portland Bill, Lulworth Cove etc… There is a bus stop directly outside which is very handy. Used that to get into Wareham and walked/ran back on forest trails. We were on pitch 40 so didn’t suffer too much from road noise but did get the full benefit of the dogs next door. Initially thought it was a kennels, but transpired it was a traveller site. The first evening they were quiet by 10:30 (though woke early) but next two nights they kicked off in the early hours. Whilst the club cant control this noise, they could advise about it. We would have chosen a pitch toward the left hand side. The hard standing is rock hard - we broke rock pegs! Plus lots of weeds sprouting. Needs some general maintenance. The site seemed a bit packed in, though I’m sure the spacing was adequate. Toilets and showers brilliant and always immaculate. Drier worked well in laundry too! With a bit of investment to update the grounds and advice to park away from the ‘neighbours’ the site would be fine
