Being our first Offical site stay, not the usual CL, we didnt know what to expect of a larger type site. This time of year is lovley as the site was busy but not rammed, very quiet and peaceful, with a large choice of pitches. Our serviced hard stand was well kept and maintained. We had an issue with the water connection being a distance from the van connection but the shop had a decent range of supplies to get us sorted with some extra hose. The staff were great, friendly, they even came to check on the hose we needed. Facilities are clean and tidy with great showers, note to self dont forget how softbtge water is! You will be rincing shampoo for hours. The pub down the road serving a simple selection of food is nice and accessed by a forest track, accessed from the site, which was a bit muddy this time of year. The foid was nice and the sunday roast was just superb. The large enclosed off lead dog field was great and the actual site being big enough to walk our dog, on lead, around to the fields. All in all,excluding the british weather, we had a fantastic little trip away👍
