This has been our “go to” site since we joined the club - close enough to get to on a Friday after work, lots to do around it. We have had to go elsewhere a few times recently as with the Swanage site shut for the season, it is currently very busy so book early. We enjoy going to Park Run on a Saturday morning, and there are three or four in easy reach. Conveniently located to go down the peninsular to Corfe and Swanage, or across to Poole, Sandbanks and Bournemouth. Nice big enclosed dog field, very friendly staff. Shop now has some basic groceries and baked goods which is handy - but it’s closed for a good part of the day. WiFi has now been upgraded and seems to reach most of the site. Don’t park on the pitches furthest from the shop if you don’t want to listen to constant barking from the dogs on the travellers site behind. Like the road noise at the front though, not really intrusive when inside your van. Handy having two toilet blocks so one is always open; happy they still have bins next to the facilities unlike so many sites who have moved them to the main entrance. Overall, nice sized pitches, clean facilities, friendly staff, and very easy to reach (no narrow roads or lanes) We will be staying again soon (as long as we can book a pitch!)
