I don't know about the dogs on the adjacent site (heard barely a yap out of them) but club sites usually have at least one dog that screeches, howls or barks while the oblivious owners sit around uttering the occasional ineffectual 'shush' at best. This visit there were none! Contented dogs lounging about troubling no-one. If only that were the case everywhere all the time. Dog owners need to take far more responsibility for their animals - and by the way - it's disgusting to see them relieving themselves on the grass areas surrounding pitches, even if it is picked up. Get to the dog walk area!!! Anyway - lots to see and do - gorgeous heathland walks, Poole and boat trips, Corfe and castle, Steam trains, Swanage.
