Just enjoyed a short stay at Hunters’s Moon and we’re very pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. We pitched in a more open spot towards the back of the site and it was very level, quiet and peaceful. Our welcome from the wardens was friendly and efficient and they were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, recommending us to two excellent dog friendly pubs. The facilities were always spotless and our dog loved the large dog walk. The TV booster system was excellent, as was the WiFi most of the time. The only downside was a very poor phone signal from Vodafone most of the time. The beaches at Swanage and Studland are excellent, as was the long dog friendly walk round Poole Quay. Overall an excellent site in a beautiful area. We can’t understand how we’ve missed it out when driving to the West Country over many years in the past and we’re already planning our return for a longer stay next Spring.
