Just arrived back from a nine night stay, wish we had been there for a month! Love this site, the area is great for touring Dorset. We went as far as Lymington and Beer in Devon on this visit. What a stunning area of the south coast! The site is spotless, clan and tidy and the facilities spot on. Showers work great and there are separate private sinks too. The shower blocks are kept to a terrific standard of cleanliness! There is a small shop inside reception selling a few basics if needed. Staff are friendly and helpful. The site is situated in Wareham Forest and it is so peaceful and quiet. The weather was a bit hit and miss during our stay but that did not spoil our stay, still got out every morning and stayed out till dusk. My only gripe, and this is the people staying on site at fault and not the site itself is the responsible dog owners letting their dogs fowl around the site, I saw this happen frequently. Okay the do pick it up, but I do think this should not happen. Maybe a sign or a leaflet handed out with the welcome pack giving strong rules of the near by dog walk area? Also they should be on a lead at all times, saw this rule broken too.........Might add I have no objections to dogs in the slightest, we sometimes take our daughters dog on holidays with us.....I just think owners should be more responsible! All in all first class stay and first class location for touring Dorset....we will return!
