A good site, central location for visiting this part of Dorset. Dog owners note, the dog field is an adequate size to throw a ball for your dog but the fence is very low and poorly maintained. The side nearest the road is also on the verge of falling down, perhaps the recent lockdown could have been a good opportunity to repair ? The walks from site are either along a very busy road with no designated footpath or on a public bridleway from the rear of the site , but very poorly maintained with deep mud/water. We would not recommend either is used unless you are very fit and equipped for such conditions.The site may not own the rear footpath but a bit of maintenance would work wonders.
