Stayed here for two weeks and although site, facilities and location were very good, we found main warden and his wife to be very unfriendly and officious. While sorting caravan out after arrival, we were sharply asked to move car from a vacant pitch nearby with no please or thank you - not a cheerful start to our holiday. Other guests told us that they were also very upset by the rude attitude of the site manager and his wife. This is the first time we have had cause to complain and hope it will be the last. Following government advice we did try to keep within our own bubble by parkIng side by side with friends and family but the Caravan Club does not allow you to reserve pitches when you each arrive at different times. We have never known so many people upset by a warden’s bad attitude. Also, isn’t it about time that the Club had name badges for the wardens?
