I know I am Grumpy but there is a limit !!!
One of the reasons I joined the club is because of the assured standards and rules and regulations imposed so that all campers can enjoy their time on site.
We arrived to a very pleasant site at the end of July and found a lovely spot to pitch up, all was well, the other campers arrived back from their days out, the bbqs went on and there was the sound of happiness around the camp. After dinner the kids got into a huge gang and started hanging round in front of other families pitches shouting at each other, riding bikes, scooters and anything else with wheels, which was fine until they were still screaming (and I mean SCREAMING!) their heads off until 20.00 the first night, 21.00 the second and 22.00 the third. Surely a campsite is for all walks of life and not just those with loud boisterous families.
We got to bed and all was quiet until at 01.00 in the morning a car was driving around the site.
I got up to use the facilities and the cubicle had lager cans littering the floor, door furniture ripped off and tissue paper all over the place and no one had bothered to use the provided "brush" after them. I tried again the next morning this time no litter but still no use of brush.
This is the first time I have ever put pen to paper but I felt I need too. As the title states, I pay a little bit extra to use club sites so that I know what I can expect when I get there. I will be returning to what is very pleasant site hopefully when things are a little bit quieter
