Great location
Returned to this site after about 10 years. It’s in a great location for Wareham, Studland bay, Old Harry Rocks, Kimmeridge Bay, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door & many other places. The weather was excellent & we spent all day, every day off site, walking or visiting the places mentioned. We didn’t notice any noise from the travellers site, but we were in the middle of the site. When we arrived, apart from some reserved pitches (not motor home signs) all the pitches left were on grass. This was not a problem to us as we had a fortnight on grass at Incleboro Fields club site, but the pitches left were in a dark area of trees near to the road. If the grass had been cut recently, it wouldn’t have made any difference, but long enough to wet shoes & feet on the first morning. As we were staying for a fortnight we had already decided to move pitches. The warden had said on booking in that we could..... but the lady warden wasn’t quite so happy when we decided to do it. She told me yes we could but we weren’t to go around the site asking all other caravanners if they were moving! Luckily one of the male wardens gave me a list of pitch numbers that would be vacated. We moved to a lovely sunny pitch & thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Only negative thing we could say is that the grass between pitches was very long. Toilet blocks were immaculate. Just a point to note - the super pitches are all at the entrance to the site, beside the quite noisy main road. Vans were allowed on site from before 12 noon every day.
