We stayed here 3 nights at the end of June but had to move pitch for the last night due to availability.  After talking to other campers we thought that we were lucky to get in as late bookers, as others booked very early and visited every year. The 1st pitch was opposite the toilets but was pleasant and quiet and there didn't seem to be a large footfall passing.  The 2nd site was a service pitch - again pleasant but some noise from the nearby road. The facilities and cleanliness were up to the usual standard and was quite a contrast to the next site we moved to! There didn't seem to be anywhere (obvious) to walk to but the site was great for exploring this scenic area round about. Staff were friendly and helpful - and we will be back - but will book early next time.
