First Time Camper-vanner
So pleased I picked this site for my first ever solo camper van trip. I stayed fairly local in case I messed up big time and could just go home. But I need not have worried. From the minute I pulled up, and told the girls at reception I was a total novice, they went out of their way to make sure I was ok. I had booked a serviced pitch, without realising I needed rock pegs, which I had left at home, but had bought grass pitch pegs, so they moved my pitch (which I preferred). They left me to it, but walked by at regular intervals to see how I was getting on, with putting up the awning, and connecting all the gear up. I asked them quite a lot of questions and every time they answered and helped show me what to do.
As a woman on my own,[my sister was with me but purely as a spectator!], I felt safe and so proud I had achieved my first trip without disaster. The location was amazing and they keep the site absolutely spotless - everywhere. They work very hard. And they came out to say goodbye when I left and congratulated me which I thought was so lovely of them.
