4 Days in November

Visited this site as part of a two site week long trip. Like all Caravan club sites we've been too so far it was clean and tidy, good facilities and high standard of pitches.  The site is very well situated for East Dorset area and the relevant attractions it offers. Warden was efficient on arrival . We would certainly re-visit the site and recommend it for a Dorset stay.

One Week Break

We were due to stay at Hunter's Moon for three weeks, but due to family illness we reduced our stay to one week. The wardens were friendly and helpful. As we gave over 72 hrs notice, they gave us a refund. We didn't get the chance to see much in this area as we spent 48 hrs in the West Midlands due to a family hospital appointment! Also we were out of season too! Otherwise, we didn't have any children with us so we don't know what the facilities are for them! The shower/toilet blocks are very clean and tidy. We managed one day in Bournemouth. Hope to return to Dorset soon! :)

Great site

have been coming to this site for 4/5 years always clean and tidy. If possible park at the far end of site due to road noise reception end of site. there should be speed cameras on the main road (racetrack) Wardens were okay but not over helpful. some idiots cannot keep their cars to 5MPH ( try using the break). Apart from these points wonderful site will be back.

Great site

First time at Hunters moon. Great site to cycle to Sika trail in Wareham forest. Spacious pitches, friendly wardens and excellent showering facilities. Only downside was the shop - couldn't even get a pint of milk as they do not order it! All in all, lovely spot to camp.

A great place to stay

Stayed for two nights and would gladly have stayed longer if the site had not been full. Everything immaculate, excellent well-fenced dog walk so safe for our hyperactive lurcher, showers which stay on as long as you like with properly screened area for your dry clothes (in comparison with some other non-CC sites we have stayed recently where you need to keep everything in a poly bag while you shower!) , friendly wardens...If there were only a bus stop on the road to get into Wareham it would be perfect but sadly even the CC probably can't influence that!

Relaxing

My first stay at Hunter's Moon - and it didn't disappoint. Facilities up to the expected Club standard, friendly and helpful wardens, and a nice clean spacious site in a tremendous location. What more could one want ? I will be back !

Relaxing yet again!

Another visit to hunters moon and again a relaxing time. We visit several times in a year as its an ideal stop for the superb surrounding coastline and places to visit. You can relax as soon as you get through the barriers until its time to leave for home. Not a lot more can be said!

latest gem

We had to travel down to Dorset from London east area for a family bereavement and we decided to make four day trip and chose Hunters Moon as our base, what luck all expectations realised, all staff friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean, pitches spacious, location spot on for all surrounding attractions. Made a sad occasion much more bearable Thanks to all.

Very nice site

We had a lovely few days at Hunters Moon. The wardens were most friendly and welcoming and the site is beautifully maintained. The facilities are top notch and spotless. The hardstanding pitches are level and spacious but quite a few are under trees which is not so good in a folding camper! The area is beautiful with Wareham Forest on the doorstep with its wonderful walks. The dog walk area on site was a decent size. We visited Weymouth, Swanage and Dorchester which were all within easy reach. Wareham has Sainsbury's and Co-op so food shopping is not a problem. There were 2 minor downsides to this site. Firstly we could hear the traffic noise even though we were almost as far away from the road as you could get and secondly there was noise from a quarry somewhere behind the site. This wouldn't stop us visiting again though. We loved it.
