2019 Review - Tried leaving it shortly after leaving in August 2019 but was unable to...so here it is

We stay here every year during the summer hols, other reviews on the site will cover the excellent surrounds re tourist spots, it's very well served all within 15 miles of it's location. This review is specifically tailored to the site, it's wardens and all things in the middle. First of all, the Club tends to rotate it's Wardens (at least the summer ones anyway), this needs a rethink, the Summer wardens here are par excellent, Mick & Angie, they know the site inside out and how it works, it is seamless in how it is run, they pay attention to detail, keep the place spotless andhave local area knowledge even locals would be hard pressed to beat. More so, they actually help make the stay enjoyable, they don't rule the roost with an iron fist, neither do the continually quote the rules, our children are growing up, they're boisterous, opinionated and enjoy Hunters Moon, it's almost their second home, it goes without saying that sometimes they can be a little loud, a little too busy on their bikes but this is where Mick & Angie are different, they seek them out, give them a freindly nod, advise them accordingly and come let us know if things get too much, no heavy chats, no stern warnings, just good wholesome friendly advice which our children adhere to in an instant. At the same time as this, if you have a problem on site, something not right in the utility blocks, pipe blocked, hair dryer not working, toilet faulty...they sort it and pdq. We like out friends who holiday with us come from 200 miles away, the drive down can be quite 'busy' but as soon as we pull onto the site Angie/Mick take the time to welcome us, their smiling faces are a true tonic after the journey down, it's comforting in some ways to know that we have a holiday in front where those charged with helping us enjoy it are so professional but also so friendly. Changing the guard here will serve only to upset the blance of what a truly excellent site Hunters Moon is, it is for us by far the best site the club has to offer, everything just works...everything. Of course there is the cheerily cheerful chap who helps them, he's usually found on the lawnmower thrashing the living shinola out of every last blade of grass he is able to cut, I'm sure Ive spotted him with scissors making a final trim, one day i'm going to park my car so he can't get the mower out, ha! he's actually a real nice guy as are the relief wardens who settled in quite well last year (think this was their first year at HM) So, this is more of a review of the wardens with the site being secondary, I don't know them outside of HM, they haven't paid me, I haven't been asked to....I simply wanted to pay them a large compliment and make the suggestion to the Club that please, stop rotating club wardens because you really do lose the huge database of knowledge they have when gone....these wardens here enrich our summer hols, without them Hunters Moon won't ever be the same.
