We've just returned from hillhead after 12 days. The site is nice enough, although I have known cleaner CC sites, I thinks it's because another shower block wouldn't go amiss. Sometimes there was a wait for a free shower. The recycling facilities were lax, with recycling points only at the blocks, this gives lazy selfish people an excuse to not recycle and dump everything in the bins at service points. Unfortunate but true. The pool was lovely, clean and warm. The kids play area was great too! The bar disappointed with only grolsh and coors on tap-bleugh. Neil Diamond was great on the entertainment but others subject to taste... The wardens were lovely however ignore all comments otherwise, when we had to phone an ambulance due to a child emergency I could not fault them, especially Robin who rocks! Overall we had a great time at hillhead.
