The wardens were busy but professional and we found one of the last 4 pitches ok -though with hindsight we picked the only pitch with shade after 5pm which was a shame as the weather was fantastic. We used the local buses nearly every day as no easy walks from here and roads not safe for cycling. The bus is great and day tickets lets you travel all day -though we went on the bus and then got the ferry back to Brixham which was nice. holiday sadly not as expected though as pool shut -due to Covid, don't really understand this as in general pools have been able to open since 19/5. I appreciate not site staff fault but we should have been informed in big letters when booking -not having to find this fact hidden in Covid FAQ's. the staff in the bar were excellent but sorry cant recommend the food and this was after the kitchen shut for 3 days (not told on check in about this or the pool closure) I'm afraid a few disappointed people around the week we were there but sure its fab when the pool is open and the regular chef is back.
