Had a week at this fantastic site,first time we have visited even though it is only an hour and a half from home.Although the site was nearly full we were amazed how quiet it was. The facilities well kept and having the swimming pool was an added extra which we used every day. The food in the Restaurant was good and as previous reviewers have said not expensive. There was entertainment on ever night but it's not our thing but other people said how good it was and although we were pitched near to the entertainment and restaurant we never heard any noise at night. The bus stops outside going to Brixham,Painton,Torquay,Dartmouth,Kingsmead and Plymouth, so no need to move the Motorhome or use the car. I wouldn't like to be at Hillhead during the school holidays but great at other times for us retired folk. Wardens helpful and hard working as are the other staff,Lifeguards,Chefs,Bar staff Shop assistants and Entertainers. I hope that you give it a try it is worth the journey and we certainly will you it again in the not too distant future.
