We have just had a lovely 2 weeks at Hillhead. Dartmouth 2 1/2 miles one way, Brixham 2 miles the other! What could be better. Site clean and tidy staff helpful and enough of them to cope with the campers. Prices resonant in well stocked shop. Although it has a dog walk I found a nice stroll by turning left at the gate and followed the bridleway. There are minimal prime pitches for views so get there early as newcomers seem to get on before the 12 noon start! We liked the site well worth it for a central location. Little hint - look out for scabbacombe sands it's well worth the effort (you will sweat getting there).
