A five day late season break was never going to see the site at its best. The wardens were fighting a rearguard action with the leaves. Conveniently situated for a ten minute walk into town, although the paths were quite mucky and passing traffic could drench you with the puddles if you weren't careful. CC sites are somewhat like McDonalds - seen one and you've seen them all although the predominance of hard-standings didn't make it seem too much like a car park. Traffic noise at the bottom of the site intruded somewhat although aircraft noise didn't seem overly intrusive. Hopefully will return when the sun is higher in the sky.
