Why stay here ...

OFFERS*: Kids for £1 (aged 5-17) | Under 5s stay free | £5 refundable deposit

Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite is a pleasant and green location, with grass and hard standing pitches for your comfort. The campsite is surrounded by statuesque mature trees, adding privacy to your stay whilst enhancing the area's natural beauty. Nearby Henley is said to date from the early twelfth century. It has many old and interesting buildings for you and your family to discover, and is the home of the famous Regatta in June and July. This is followed a week later by a popular music festival and traditional boat rally, which involves the odd wooden-built craft for a touch of nostalgia.

The ornate stone bridge that spans across the River Thames is a popular landmark for visitors to Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite. It dates from 1786, though there is evidence of an earlier bridge dating from as early as 1170. The town is easily reached from the campsite and there are many antique shops, art galleries and charming boutiques for you to browse. Another fun excursion would be to take a leisurely boat ride on the lovely Thames, travelling as far afield as Marlow or even Maidenhead. The site is well placed to visit some very interesting places including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace and the city of London. Legoland, approximately 15 miles drive from the site, is a great fun day out for children.

Directions

Map showing campsite location

From the East take the M4 junction 8/9 onto the A404 and then take the A4130. Cross river bridge into Henley-on-Thames. At the third set of traffic lights (including pedestrian crossing) turn right into road signposted Marlow, Oxford. In 0.25 mile at mini roundabout fork right onto A4155 (signposted Marlow). The site is on the left in about 0.5 mile (500 yards past entrance to Swiss Farm Caravan Site). From the M40: leave at junction 4 onto A404. We recommend not using junction 5 or 6 of the M40, as routes include single-track lanes and steep hills. Turn onto the A4155 (signposted Marlow, Henley). The site is on the right about 7 miles past Marlow (0.5 miles past Toad Hall Garden Centre). Please note, those who do not know the town well are advised not to drive or tow through Reading.

Nice little site

A lovely small site but the road is very busy so best to pitch away if you can from it where it's much quieter. Henley is easily asses-sable by walking or bike which lead you to the river, the cycling is good for kids.. Henley is lovely with nice shops,... Show more

Good for a 1 night stay

This is a nice, small site but the road is very busy so best to pitch away from it where it's much quieter. Easy to walk into Henley and perfect for dog walks along the Thames. Henley is lovely and full of nice shops, restaurants and pubs. Echoes, craft beer,... Show more

Average site

Firstly before I review I recommend you read the directions on the site page. We travelled down from the midlands along the M40 and mistakenly followed our satnav which took us of at J5 ! don't do this as the road it takes you on is a B road, very... Show more

Pleasant location.

The site is well placed for the amenities of Henley and the surrounding area but it’s location alongside the Henley to Marlow road suffers from fairly constant traffic noise. Whilst I have no experience of the toilet/shower facilities (we use our own in-van facilities) the site appears to be in... Show more

Lovely Site

First stay at Henley Four Oaks, and was not disappointed. Efficient and friendly wardens kept arrivals in order to be seen whilst ensuring queue time was kept to a minimum. Stayed on a Hardstanding pitch, all of which were fairly flat, but were in good condition. Grass pitches seemed popular... Show more

Perfectly located

Very friendly wardens, and perfectly located for Henley and the surrounding area. The site is immaculate, and has all the facilities you’d expect. The toilet block is very clean, if a little dated. Washing up facilities are currently closed but there is alternative provision in the laundry... Show more

clean facilities a 20 minute walk ( or a bus ride) from Henley

Clean facities and friendly helpful staff in a convenient location. I was at the back of the site so I did not notice any traffic noise. A drive over waste water facility would have made the site perfect. (I don't know whether the site is good for families so... Show more
