This is a super site, well managed, clean, ideally located and well run. The team were friendly and supportive. The facilities were great.
One of our favourite sites
We have been visiting Henley for several years and always enjoy staying a Henley Four Oaks. The site is very well clean and spotlessly maintained by friendly helpful wardens, yes there is road noise from traffic which can be noisy at certain times particularly from the occasional speeding bikers. However the visits to Henley and Marlow with walks or boat trips along the Thames are most memorable.
Extremely Noisy
Stayed for a week and didn't get one good night's sleep, traffic is continual , supposedly 40mph speed limit but at times like being on the motorway. Tv reception is horrendous , no dish signal and no signal even whilst plugged in to their point. Nice walk in Henley, nice walks and local shopping.
Good location, Good Site.
Having read all the negative comments about road noise all I can say is “what’s all the fuss about”? Yes, you can hear the road, but apart from the odd boy racer and speeding motorcycle it’s no worse than many other sites in similar locations offering good access to local towns and villages. It’s a fairly small site, mostly level with lots of mature trees. The walk to Henley is a easy level walk about 20 minutes with a pavement all the way. A bus stop within 5 minutes walk will take you Marlow (worth a visit) and beyond. Helpful and friendly staff.
This is a good site, well maintained with good facilities - recommended.
Many positive attributes, except the main road
A pleasant site, laid out in an eclectic and interesting format. Facilities are very good, with a well maintained toilet block and lovely children's play area. Despite being full on our visit, the site was not overcrowded. The walk into Henley is 15-20 minutes and the town itself is lovely.
But, the main road outside the site is likely to be a problem to many if you are unfortunate enough to have to pitch anywhere near it. Those to the back of the site perhaps might have had less of a problem? Traffic is heavy at peak times and makes it difficult to switch off and relax outside.
It's a shame, because we had a really nice stay.
Good for Henley
As others have said the road noise is not good, maybe if it's cold and you have the windows shut it would be ok, but as we were here during the heat all windows open, both in and out of the rv road noise, not a relaxing break on site.
The noise from the road
The site is ok for visiting Henley and the surrounding area but the noise from the road is off putting. BBQing with my daughters family was an unpleasant affair having to almost shout to be heard over the road noise. Be aware that flight path perhaps to Heathrow is also above you.
The walk into Henley is manageable if not a little scary with the narrow pavement until you get to the town limits. Particularly if you are pushing a pushchair.
Apart from the above all facilities are as you would expect from the Caravan Club

Hooray Henley
A well run pleasant site in a great location for Henley on Thames.
On our visit the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Well worth a visit and we've booked again for best year.
An example of how a site should work
Visited with MH prior to regatta week. Staff excellent and very helpful . the pitch layout feels random and not lined up like a parking lot as a number of sites are. Noise from road that runs past may annoyed some. The one issue the Club should maybe raise with the local council is the pathway to the town needs improving and as there is another caravan site down the road it would make it safer.
Red Kite Watching Heaven
This is a smashing little site and perfectly placed to vist Henley. We were amazed at the sight of so many red kites flying above and around the site which was a lovely spectacle . The site is somewhat noisy being adjacent to the main Henley to Marlow Road and traffic noise is offputting but it does quieten down at night. The site has a bus stop nearby you can catch a bus into Marlow and beyond . There are some lovely walks by the side of the Thames on the Thames Path and if you are adventurous you can even walk to Marlow. The site has Wi-Fi but we had a great difficulty in getting a connection for some reason resulting in a very long conversation with the provider which may have been just a one off problem. Overall this is a very good site with friendly staff but be prepared to be disturbed by the noise from the adjacent main road .
