Lovely, well maintained site, no shower or toilet block but aware of that prior to booking. Great location for Mytholmroyd & commuting to Hebden & Sowerby Bridge. Lovely, scenic area with good walks. Lady warden is very pleasant & helpful. Sadly, the gentleman (& I use the term very loosely) is a grumpy, rude individual whose main mission seems to be waiting to pounce on customers who he believes are in breach of club rules. As a full time motorhomer & a frequent user of club sites, I fully accept the ‘rules’ are there for the benefit of all. However, there is a way of conveying this to people & sadly his manner is unacceptable. This was my second visit to the site & both times I have found him to be rude, unapproachable & grumpy. A customer awareness course may help or perhaps a personality transplant ! What a shame, I will not return.
