Well all I can say is what a perfect place to stay. The site is lovely and clean, it's very peaceful, I sat most days watching the birds and squirrels nibbling away on the food I'd put on to the bird feeder. The wardens are fantastic people, always busy but make time to chat to the people on site and have always got a cheerful attitude and smile. On site there is a little dog area which was just enough for my little old dog to walk to and around but if it's a dog that needs plenty of exercise I'd just use this for early morning and night times. There's a little shop in reception which sells tea, coffee and cakes etc plus TV booster cables and electric hook up cables etc. I can't comment on the local surroundings as we never left the site it was just what we wanted, a quiet, peaceful long weekend. I would definitely recommend this site, we will be returning.
