Pretty and friendly
Spotlessly clean site which is maintained by helpful and friendly wardens. We spent 3 nights over August Bank Holiday. The upgrade has improved the layout 💯. Large, level pitches with pleasant flora and views through the trees.
Wardens have gone to great lengths to share pitch etiquette, yet some people STILL think its OK to trudge across your setup. 'Oops' ...my dog's escaped...running around without a lead. 'Oops'.....my dog jumped out if its pram. Quite a lot of dog owners seem to think it's OK to ignore the 'keep dog's on a lead' rule? Not everyone likes dogs. This is not a fault of Hebden bridge, but all sites dotted around the country, which we've been to. A site well worth visiting with Hebden bridge a walk away along the Rochdale canal towpath. Also enjoyed a drink in the Shoulder of Mutton Inn.
