Been to the Heden Bridge site many times over the years and never fail to be impressed by the site and especially the new wardens. Two lovely people who are keeping the site in top condition, very helpful if help needed and very welcoming. The site as said before does not have a toilet block but if that suits you as it does us we would recommend this site, the area now recovering from the floods is very interesting from the quirky Hebden Bridge with its local shops including a cafe for dogs. Local ales and excellent food abounds as well as Italian, Greek and traditional fish and chips. The Shoulder of Mutton has reopened with a new team and style excellent food, drink and surroundings. Sites as good as this in areas as northern as can be are well worth a visit any time.
