Pretty site.

Pretty site, seemed very well kept. Wardens seemed friendly. Not really in Hebden Bridge, about 3 mile walk or by road. There is a village at the bottom of the hill plus some houses and the Robin Hood pub as you go further up. Bus stop outside the campsite and we took a taxi to Hebden Bridge ( £8 each way for two of us). If you are a keen walker or cyclist would be a great base. Probably not ideal if you have small children unless you drive out somewhere each day. No toilet block which we knew and was fine, I would have liked a pot wash area though. Somewhere to go do the big greasy pans and that kind of thing. The pitches were nice and wide but some people in longer caravans and motorhomes not happy about the length of their pitches. We are 6.4m and almost outside our pitch. Some people tried parking diagonally and then asked to move. If you have a large unit check that you can be accommodated. The dog walk was laughably small. I’m not very bothered about having a dedicated dog walk area so wasn’t really an issue for us but if that’s something you are looking for you’ll be disappointed here. Motorhome service point was excellent - proper drive over grid. I’d go back just for this!
