This is a lovely well kept site, very friendly staff who are knowledgeable of the surrounding area and what it has to offer. Turn right out of the site and a ten to fifteen minute walk is the Robin Hood pub, Don’t let the interior put you off , the food is fantastic, giant Yorkshire puddings with beef and lashings of gravy veg and roasties£10.00 and a free sweet if you have any room left. Also some fine real ales. Turn left and ten minutes downhill is the small town of Mytholmroyd which has a few pubs and lots of hairdressers. Turn left at the main road and after a short distance you can walk along the canal towpath to Hebden Bridge approx 1 1/2 Miles.This is a larger town with a good selection of pubs restaurants and shops. We had a great time and will be back.
