Our first and last stay at this site
We thought we would try a Hebden Bridge caravan site as it was on our way home from Blackshaw Moor Leek and also because the price was cheaper in April. We knew the site did not have a shower block and that was ok, as we used our own facilities. Wardens were lovely and kept the site nice. The caravan site is not near Hebden Bridge it is about two miles away, so it was impossible for my husband to walk that far. Hebden Bridge is lovely but very hard to find a car park and that is in the middle of the week, so don't try taking your car on a weekend. The problems we had with the caravan site was the constant noise from the road which runs along the caravan site and we were pitched in the middle of the site but could still hear it. Another problem we had was people cutting through our pitch to walk their dogs. We were on pitch 34 and on that row people seem to cut through to get to the exit for dog walking. We got so sick of it that we erected wind breaks which solved our problem but it would be better for the club to erect fencing at the back of this row of pitches to eleviate the problem. Area is more of a walkers paradise which was not for us but we did visit East Riddlesden hall which was lovely.
Will not visit again because it is not near enough to Hebden Bridge and the area is not for us.
