Nice quiet friendly site. Note well there is no toilet block. Access to Hebden Bridge town on the bus is good and a really nice pub, Robin Hood, is walkable from the site. Robin Hood do meals but only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Couple of good walks straight off the site.

Quiet site

Stayed here this weekend. Didn't realise there was no toilet block or shower till we was on our way there. This is the only down side of this site. This is definitely not for family's as no play area. There is room for showers and toilets which I think should be added to this site as we would return in that case. Very quiet and well kept.

No route given in Handbook from M62

With help and advice, from members in club together we left the M62 @J24, then took the A road route around Halifax. Very steep hill soon after leaving Motorway, it seemed steeper going back up it! Site very clean and tidy. Nearest pub 20 minutes walk up the hill. Hebden Bridge was a one hour walk along the Rochdale canel. (10 minutes in car). Limited car parking in Hebden Bridge (60p an hour) , but plenty of eating places . Bus stop near site entrance. The site is on the longest hill in England, and is part of the Tour of Yorkshire cycle race , and is a popular Road for cyclists. We managed without a toilet block, which would have been nice, but then the site fee would increase no doubt.

nice site

this a nice small site that has no facilities so you have to use your own on board facilities I was parked on the top row on pitch 7 and found there was a lot of water by the wall so look out for that I don't find the road noisy as I live on a very busy main road which is that bad I've had to go sleep in the back room and in summer can't open my living room window as the noise rives me nuts ,I went into Hebden Bridge first for couple of hours found a large Coop there expensive but good if you need anything there is also a smaller one in Mytholroyd itself and a small Sainburys will be going again soon

Charming Site

What a lovely little site within walking distance of Hebdon Bridge, along the canal. There are plenty of footpaths directly from the site, over the hills and along the valleys .... it is just perfect for walkers. We loved it and will definitely come back sometime.

Short stop

Hebden Bridge is a good site for a few day R&R with a bus service out side the camp site gates into Hebdan Bridge, Halifax etc. Some nice walks from the site but a lot of the paths are not that well signed need some work on a few of the styles as well but we are used to the well laid out paths in France ,Spain and Austria who make sure the paths are well maintained not like these in Yorkshire.Just a splash of paint on a tree or rock shows you the right way with little cost. Not that this is the C & Motorhome clubs fault... The site itself as you all know does not have a toilet block but is well laid out with a small river running right by it. Wardens as normal were friendly on arrival and site was very clean and the flowers in full bloom helping to create the right environment of peace and quiet so not the site for children.

Easy to find, Thanks to the 'Caravan Club' signs

I was grateful that the Caravan Club signs we have become so used to looking out for, were still in place at this site. It is on the main road and I am guessing we may have gone straight past if we had been relying on the new (useless) Logo. We knew before we visited that the site did not have a Toilet Blocks and maybe the money that was obviously wasted by rebranding, would have been better spent on erecting a Toilet Block on those sites that do not have them at present. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful.
