Wonderful site and Wardens !

What an absolute gem this site is ! The wardens Trevor and Claire keep this site immaculate and the shower block beautifully clean - right down to the lovely fresh flowers in the ladies ! There’s lots of walking directly from the site, with many more further afield if you have a car. One footpath passes by the top of the site, taking you to meet the road (the one you came in on) where you can then continue on across fields to Corfe Castle. But if this is a bit to far to walk, continue a little further down the road to ’Harman’s Cross’ railway station and take a wonderful ride on a steam train instead to either Swanage or Corfe Castle. There are also many magnificent walks along the coastal path too. But should the weather be awful a trip to ‘Badger Brewery’ Visitors Centre at Blandford is well worth a visit, as is the ‘Tank Museum’ at Bovington. Any query you have Trevor or Claire, are only to happy to answer as both are ‘fountains of knowledge’ regarding this part of Dorset !
