We have just come back from a fabulous week at this beautifully situated site. We were lucky and had lovely sunny dry weather, even sitting out in the afternoons in mid October.   We visit every year for a week in either Spring or Autumn as the site is set in stunning scenery with walks in every direction. It's a quiet site, with only the delightful sound of steam engines, chugging up and down the line nearby.  The Wardens are so helpful and friendly and the site is immaculate.  Flowers in the shower block are a very nice touch.  They gave us a cheery wave and "see you next year" as we left - you just couldn't ask for a more enjoyable experience.  Very pleased to hear that they will be on site next year.
