After eight nights on this wonderfull site it was hard to return home! The short walk to the heritage Swanage railway (frequent steam trains) made it an ideal location for leaving the motorhome on site and making visits to Swanage and Corfe Castle. The train also provided a variety of locations to start one of the many local walks. Having booked at short notice we were adviced a grass pitch was all that could be made available and we needed to be aware that recent heavy rain had left pitches boggy in parts. The wardens made every effort to find us the best position to pitch to minimise the effect of the wet pitches. An excellent and careing approach that we appreciated. Next year we will book up early and make a return visit as there is so much to see and do.
