Stayed here in April just after lockdown #3 ended. Site is in a quiet location and is well maintained although did not use sanitary block as was advised by staff to use our own. This site is not ideal for motorhomes as at the time we stayed the Train station at Harmans Cross remains closed due to Covid. Although stations at Corfe and Swanage are open. So we could not use the train for transport. The walk to Corfe across the fields is far longer than the 2 1/4 miles on the finger post and involves a part along a busy main road. Because of Covid the site information room remains closed. We would have liked some information about the area to be available perhaps by posting a notice on the information cabin or by a hand out on arrival ( like the Cheddar site) As it was there was no information easily available. Apparently there’s a bus stop up a very steep hill if you turn left out of the site another camper informed us. The area is lovely but I don’t think we’ll return because of the location.
