Peaceful and lovely site
We have just returned from a week's stay at Haycrafts site.
We chose a pitch on the grass in the area close to the site entrance. This is a lovely area, feels private and spacious.
Other pitches are in rows and arranged over 2 terraces, these are less spacious and cars have to be parked in front of caravans on some of these pitches due to space.
The lane leading up to the siteis very narrow so care is needed when arriving and leaving with the caravan.
The toilets and showers were very clean, there are only 3 showers but I only had to wait for one to become free on one occasion during the week. The showers themselves are great, they are all the hand held shower heads, great water pressure! Wish this style of shower was adopted for all club sites. The space in the shower cubicle is quite small with limited space to place belongings. There are a couple of hooks but no shelving/seating area, just a small plastic stool. I got round this by making a dash to a privacy cubicle after my shower (wrapped in my towel, I hasten to add) to get dried and dressed. Each privacy cubicle has a hairdryer which is a great idea. So, the pros outweigh the cons of the limited shower cubicle space.
The site is about 3 miles from Swanage and 2 from Corfe. Good location with lots of beautiful areas to explore nearby.
I recommend the grass pitches, they are spacious and pitches are arranged in a nicer way than the terraced rows in my opinion.
