Haycraft Club Campsite makes for an ideal base from which to explore the historic towns, picturesque villages and beautiful coastline of Dorset. There are numerous public footpaths and coastal walks near the campsite for walking enthusiasts, and if you're a beach lover you will be a short distance from the sandy beaches of Swanage or the glorious stretch of golden sands at Studland Bay.

The campsite also offers easy access to the charming attractions of Poole Harbour, Bournemouth, Dorchester, Weymouth, Wareham and the National Trust's Brownsea Island, home to the traditional red squirrel. Haycraft Club Campsite is situated just a few minutes' walk away from the magnificent Swanage Railway, allowing the opportunity to ride on heritage steam and diesel trains to Swanage town centre and the attractive Corfe Castle village, which is a great favourite with both the young and old alike. If you're looking for a holiday destination in Dorset, that's away from the beaten track but within convenient distance to it, you'll find this peaceful campsite to be the perfect location with its great views.

Excellent Site

We stayed at this site in early July. The facilities were amazing, brand new, superbly kept and easily accessible from all pitches. I hope that all new toilet blocks are built to this standard and general design. The wardens, Pat and Debbie Delaney were very friendly, helpful and always accessible... Show more

Don’t book a grass pitch!

Nicely refurbished hard standings and toilet block making it a lovely site but don’t book a grass pitch! Site fees were very expensive for a scruffy grass area with high hedges, shady and unkempt grass. Pitch ran down a bank and very difficult to level two ways. Its in a beautiful area... Show more
