We stayed here 15th to 19th Sept and would love to go back. Although the site was fully booked we were able to choose from 5 different pitches and selected pitch 8, a grass pitch near the entrance which was a great choice with lots more room and more privacy than the hard standing sites and not in full sun all day which suited us We didn’t see anyone on pitch 4 (see previous review) but it did look slightly small. The site is perfect for the steam railway (5 mins walk), Corfe, Swanage, Kimmeridge Bay, plenty of local walks including down to the coastal path - must visit dinosaur footprints at Keates Quarry. It was really peaceful especially at night (apart from the hooting of owls!) - no kids when we stayed. The staff were helpful, good dog walk area and we would highly recommend this site.
