I love this site. Small and friendly. The wardens are really helpful and accommodating. The toilet block is clean and tidy (as expected) and there is plenty of hot water. The shower is better than the one at home. The site is brilliant for walkers - walk across the fields to Corfe or if more ambitious walk the other direction towards Swanage. Take the train to Swanage although you need to come back early as they finish running at about 5pm. There is plenty to do in the area. Have a trip to Weymouth, the Tank Museum and Monkey World aren't far away. Blue Pool at Wareham is also a lovely walk although not looking too blue at the moment! The dog walk on site is a good size and dogs can be let off the lead to run about. My only gripe would be that the grass is extremely long apart from a few mowed paths and I found the people couldn't see where their dog had been and hadn't been picked up as it should be. If the grass was shorter this wouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't suggest this is the best site for young children as there isn't a play area apart from a bit of field and children these days aren't used to making their own fun! Its a small site within a stunning area and I will be going again and again.
