We stayed here for 10 days with our 2 children (aged 3 and 5). The site has lovely views as pitches are terraced. It's VERY quiet and peaceful here. There are LOADS of birds on site. We placed our portable feeders by the Caravan and were graced with numerous visitors! Nuthatches, coal tits, blue tits, chaffinches and even a woodpecker... I needed to stock up our seed supplies mid week as the feeders needed topping up twice a day! This is a lovely site and we loved our holiday here. Sadly the weather in this valley is very wet! But we just headed to the coast for the day and there was glorious sunshine there.... It didn't matter to us but we had NO TV all week as no digital here and we don't have SKY. But we just talked, read books, watched DVDs so wasn't an issue. The only thing we missed was being able to check forecast to make plans. A wifi or mobile phone reception would have been useful, but due to location it's understandable why it's not there. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would recommend to others if you want to be cut off from the world and have peace and quiet!
