We were due to stay on this site on the 11th August for one night. We arrived at around 14:00 and with the Warden not being on duty we followed the instructions to find a pitch. There were two available hard standings, none of which were remotely level and consequently with a 24ft motorhome I decided not to take the risk. Grass pitches were available, but whilst level, were extremely wet. Rather than risk getting stuck we decided not to stay and carried onto a local CL. It has been mentioned in previous reviews that more attention should be drawn to the steepness of the site roads in the site description and this would certainly make sense.
