Great for peace and quiet!
This was our very first trip in our very first motorhome. The site is tucked away in beautiful woods and countryside. Very little light pollution meant the sky was magnificent at night, and bird feeders dotted about ensured plenty of winged activity.
The facilities for fresh water, waste water, and general rubbish were excellent...several stations are placed around the site so you're never more than a couple of minutes away, which we found very convenient. There are no toilets or showers on this site, but an on-board wet-room mean this wasn't really an issue.
For us, the only down side to this beautiful place was that it nestles in a hilly valley, and there is no TV service (I think you may have received two channels if you were near the site office at the bottom of the hill) and no phone service. We had gone equipped with various pieces of technology, which meant we could access our Amazon and Netflix account on our new Avtex telly...but only if we could get a decent phone coverage and convert to Wi-Fi. So, sadly, we had no live entertainment here... but we'd taken a few DVDs along just in case, so we could at least watch something in the evenings.
The wardens were super friendly and helpful, and offered lots of advice to us newbies...including how to park the van correctly, so it lined up with the marker. Won't be making that mistake again!
Overall, this is a little gem, if you want solitude and picturesque walks...couldn't fault it at all. For us, though, I think we'll make sure we have a few more services at our next site...being cut off from the world of technology was just a little too scary!
