a good old fashioned site - great
Like all the previous reviewers we found it very quiet and very well maintained by very friendly wardens. Good for walkers and there are some lovely drives if that floats your boat. Powis Castle is almost a must. The view over the reservoir quite spectacular, take a picnic !! The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways are an hours drive from the site but it's good roads, again quiet and beautiful. The bird life on site is varied and encouraged again by our wardens. A great deal on pricing too !!
