Another great stay

Stayed at the end of June beginning of July having used the site a few times before. Arrived and thought the grass had all gone 😂 - it had a desert look, even the pots of plants were struggling because of the dry weather! Lovely greeting from relief wardens the usual wardens returned during our stay equally lovely. Fantastically clean facilities as usual. Short walk out of the site to the dunes and beach for dog walking or human playing! alive with skylarks and terns. There's a protected nesting area. Theres a land train and buses run along the prom into Yarmouth in the summer months, a good level walk along the top or on the beach 30 minutes ish. Bus stop opposite the entry gate just into the housing estate. On site shop sells milk and bits. There is a shop on the static caravan park open 8-8 selling a full range including bakery if the site shop doesn't have what you want. We enjoyed a day at the races, half price entry if you buy from the office, £8 in our case an afternoon meet 7 races. I won my entrance fee back. Soon got the hang of the totes, never been on a race course before or placed a bet! Stakes as low as £1 with the right tote. We were joined by our son and his partner for his birthday, they put a small 2 person tent in the awning space. First club visit for either of them both very impressed. We will be back as Yarmouth has much to offer beyond the front. The Time and Tide Museum is a must and the attached tearoom Silver Darlings worth a few visits! Beautiful fresh offerings. We hired a boat from Potter Heigham for fabulous few hours. Plenty to amuse most folk.

Can't edit once posted 😲

We are glad we went onto the course for the racing as only one race passed closeby the pitches at the back, and that was where they started from. Otherwise you see very little racing from the pitches or site.
