Lovely site, with clean facilities. Had a little issue with the cable when we arrived, apparently joining hook up cables is not allowed - first we've heard of it and we've used a lot of C&MH sites. Thankfully we had another cable that was long enough. Very long walk into the main town area but plenty of buses a short walk from the site to take you there. Typical seaside town, but have to recommend the Mermaid Bar within the Prom Hotel - food was fantastic. Disappointed that you were not allowed to walk your dog on the racecourse, Warwick Racecourse allow this. This however didn't stop us adding another night onto our visit. We were fortunate that there was Ladies Day at the Races on the Wednesday night and we could see the races from our pitch. We also had Scott Mills DJ on for a couple of hours afterwards. Might not suit everyone but it was lovely sitting outside the moho listening to the music. Would recommend and would go back.
Staff
staff nice and friendly one member got attitude problem noticed by members
Location great
Came last year in June had no problem
Friendly people on site
Beach quite near dog friendly too
Good Site
Very warm friendly welcome from staff. We booked an extra 2 nights.Facilities were kept clean. We was there on a race day, which was exciting to watch. Beaches are fab. Bus stop outside the site to Great Yarmouth only less then 2 miles. Proper sea side town with donkey rides on the beach. Site was very quite while we were there.
My real criticism is that on our last day, while using the women facilities to shower. A lady was in the block with her Dog!! IS THIS ALLOWED? Never experienced this before on ANY club site. Left a polite note to wardens when we posted key back so they were aware.
Don’t arrive early you get told off !
We arrived at 12.56 after travelling many miles we pulled up after finding our way. We just turned off the engine when the male site warden told us we had arrived too early (4 minutes!) having travelled 200 miles plus if we did it again would turn us around, report us to head office and take our number plate. His tone was that of. Headmaster speaking to his pupils ! I was fuming !
A polite greeting would have been nice.
Site itself, usual standards of the club , lots of dogs being walked off leads , some consideration for the horses, as it is a race course!
However, not every guest staying knows the difference between black waste and clean water. My husband caught a man using the clean tape to wash out his toilet container! When challenged he said I only want some water. Absolutely disgusting.
I won’t return to this site
Not as good as normal unfortunately...
Well not sure what happened we use site quite regularly but this time it was so quiet for time of year? Never been to a site camc or other when someone's not going round on a lawnmower? I know grass is pretty dead but still needs tidying up didn't look great... racecourse has told site no dogs on any part of their area, you used to be able to use green area as you come in but no more. So have to go completely off site or walk around site... which people were doing, lm ok with that when its quiet but sure some wont like it? So is the site going to make a small dog walk area? Didn't see much of wardens but they were friendly when did... just hope we're not loosing this site??
Want to staybon
We are booked to move on otherwise we would be staying here! Can’t fault the site, staff or location. Racing was a good experience, course staff very friendly, buses outside site, beach down the road. The facilities on site were a pleasure to use.

Great, Great Yarmouth
We visited in October specifically to see the racing and it was brilliant and a great atmosphere. We were lucky with the weather too and did lots of walks - along the seafront into Yarmouth and also the other way to Caister. There was some good walks in the information room & the warden kindly photocopied one for us. We took the bus out to Burgh castle and had lunch at the Queens Head which was a lovely meal and then walked back into Yarmouth along the riverside. There is a nice country park near to the site - Bure Park with the riverside and you can walk into Yarmouth alongside the river too.

Never again!
Arrived Friday on the bank holiday weekend for 3 night stay. Left very early on the Sunday as could no longer stand the noise. We would have left after one night but we had family commitments locally. Kids playing around the caravans and cars including croquet! Noise from before 0700, not the relaxing stay we were looking for. Complete waste of money. Site staff advised. No action taken.
Disappointed reception
Was greeted by a lady informing us we were 20 minutes early so turn round and park on the beach road, no hello can I help you. Yes we were early but a bit of compassion would have been nice, our baby was crying as he was hungry but again come back at 13.00 it’s on your email !!! Will not return to site
Easily accessible site close to beaches
Having received a check call to confirm my arrival time, sadly unanswered as I was driving I arrived in time before closure. Friendly staff, plenty of info about the site, both good and bad. WiFi not recommended so rather disappointing. Single toilet block but no problems with queues during the long opening times. Although good for dogs a lot of signs state dogs not allowed but maybe some were only on race days. Plenty of info and offers for places to visit in the wider area. Good site for all ages.
