No apologies for yet another review on this site!

Yet another wonderful weekend away staying at this site following a stressful week at work! The two wardens work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is looked after, that the site is kept clean and they have already made some excellent improvements. We arrived late due to traffic however the office was still open and we were met with a very friendly and cheery wardens after what must have been a very long day for them. We love the quietness of the site, no strimming and tractors emptying bins here not even on a Sunday, but wheel barrows carrying garden waste from cutting, areas of, what will be wild meadow, and a central recycling and waste area where everyone puts their waste. We do not agree with some of the reviews here relating to 'shabby' and 'tired' and totally agree with the last reviewer that you should take the time out of your day to understand and talk to to the wardens who are very happy to explain their plan for the site. The weather was extremely hot for our weekend but we still managed a few cycles around Grafham Water (approximately 9 miles around) and returned to sit in 'dapple shade' provided by some of the wonderful trees on site. We also saw the Strawberry moon, and the magnificent resident owl! One of our favourite sites to visit all year around. Needless to say 'we will be back'...................! Thank you - The Smiths!
