Wet Weekend in Wales?

Superb British weather started us off on our third trip out in our caravan. We arrived at 1230 on Sat and as the sun was shining we decided to leave the van and go around the Gower. We went to Rhossili Bay and enjoyed the walk with our dog, Buster. We also visited Woeble Castle, with Buster. We got back about 8pm and finished setting up the van and the awning. Next day the superb British weather give us rain all day but we contacted a friend who lived a half hour away and went to see them, for 9 and a half hours, great time catching up. Monday and the weather was wet again, more of a drizzle than rain, so we went to Oxwich Bay and the surrounding beaches, with Buster. Although we got wet, some of the time, we also enjoyed ourselves, as did Buster. I keep mentioning the weather because the British weather can be what it wants when it wants, you cannot necessarily plan it and the forecasters rarely get it right and if you plan for different types of weather then you will still enjoy your holiday. I also keep mentioning Buster, our dog, as someone mentioned about the Gower not being dog friendly. Everywhere we went we were allowed to take the dog, this is because we checked before going there. Prior planning should prevent disappointment. All in all a good trip, and the site, as can be seen from the rating, was A1, clean and tidy. We will go again, I am sure.
