Great stay

As always a good welcome to a great site with good facilities, all much better since the pitches have had work on to stop the flooding. Good places to visit nearby.

Hidden treasure

This site is located in an ideal spot to tour the local area. It is just as convenient if you wish to visit the local beaches (you are literally spoilt for choice), partake in some retail therapy, attend a sporting event or concert or visit the numerous local attractions. It is situated some 10 mins off the M4 but it feels as of it a lifetime away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic. The facilities were clean and tidy as was the site. The pitches were large and even and the wardens were friendly, pleasant and helpful. The only disappointing part of our stay was that we were only stopping for 3 nights. This gem of a site will definitely be added to our list of preferred sites and we will certainly be back visiting very soon.

Handy for motorhomers without transport

Site is very handy only 1 mile from train station to Swansea city centre or anywhere else on the West Wales coast. Site facilities clean and tidy, pitches very level compared to some, site team very helpful with a fish & chip delivery at 1800 hours every Friday & Saturday but make sure you place an order by 16.30 hours on the day. Harvester restaurant half a mile away and 9 hole golf course and driving range with a cafe that serves a super breakfast open to non members. Very handy for the Gower with all the lovely beaches and walks will definitely visit again.

A great site

Stayed for 8 nights whilst touring the area, great site with very very helpful staff who were friendly and ensured the stay was a good one. The site is handily placed for touring the Gower which is spectacular.

A lovely site...

Lovely clean site, convenient location and very friendly and helpful staff. The only slight disappointment was that when we went to use the toilet block in the morning, about 10-15 mins before the advertised closure time for cleaning it had already been closed and so unavailable for use

Fantastic location and great Staff

Me and my daughter stayed here as part of a rally weekend on the 24th -26th March, we enjoyed the site so much we stayed on for an additional 2 night and didn't want to go home! The wardens were extremely helpful and walked around the site regularly to make sure everyone were ok. I visited the shop/office on a few occasions for various reasons and each time I had great service, warm welcome and got clear answers for my questions. The site its self is clean, well groomed and a perfect location for families. The shower and toilets were spotless and were cleaned regularly. Great location to visit Swansea, Mumbles, Gower or Llanelli. we will definitely be returning again this year.

Good base for Gower and Swansea

Nice site with very friendly wardens. Pre-order fish and chips for delivery Friday and Saturday p.m. Nicely based for exploring the Gower peninsular, Swansea and the Black Mountains by car. We enjoyed the food at "The Reverend James" pub about 5 mins drive away.

Perfect Gower

The Gower site is as pleasant a caravan site as you can ever hope to find. Apart from spectacular sunsets across the salt marshes, it is placed perfectly for trips to Swansea by rail/car, and the whole of Gower is easily accessible. From Gowerton station you can catch trains to West Wales (Carmarthen, Tenby, Haverfordwest, Fishguard) for a day out. There are some excellent value restaurants in Gowerton itself. The site staff are a bundle of smiles and helpfulness, while the modernised site is immaculate. There is a litle noise from the railway line in the distance but it is hardly noticeable.
