We have just spent 4 days here enjoying the wonderful views and the peace and quiet. The other users were friendly and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I found the facilities spotless and although small and perhaps dated they were more than adequate and I never had to queue. Occasionally there was a little whiff from the water treatment works, but it was very minor. I can’t comment on wi fi as I don’t use it on holiday. There was a good 4G signal. The scenery is spectacular and the variety of birds at low tide was amazing, a stroll along the coastal path was not too difficult and I am 80% sure I saw a sea otter. My field glasses were back in the van! Our pitch was on the harbour wall which gave us wonderful views but as a non awning pitch was a little small as we were able to park ‘nose first’ for the view, our door was at the same side as our neighbours who had reversed their motor home in, so we were sharing the same bit of grass. They were lovely people though so it wasn’t too intrusive. Food at the Harbour pub was delicious, the ‘Hive’ cafe did lovely ice cream and the local garage/shop had everything we needed. For us, it was a perfect break.
